The primary purpose of this treatment is relaxation, including long gliding strokes across the body to help with general aches and pains. Light to medium pressure throughout to increase circulation which may have value in the treatment of some inflammatory conditions, such as arthritis.

This treatment is most beneficial for athletes or people suffering from chronic tension. Medium to firm pressure is applied with a focused approach of reducing muscle adhesions and relieving pressure points throughout the body.

This service is perfect for deep relaxation! By using heated, smooth basalt stones that are slowly guided across the body, this treatment is perfect to help ease tension and increase stress relief. While this treatment is great for relieving muscle aches and pains, its main goal is relaxation. If you have multiple areas of tension that you are hoping for focused work on, I would suggest the therapeutic or deep tissue massage to start, and return to the hot stone when the pain is more manageable.

A massage for the expecting mother! Women can begin prenatal massage therapy during their second and third trimester. With the support of a prenatal pillow, you will be able to rest comfortably on your stomach (side lying with the support of pillows is also available  if preferred). Massage is most beneficial to help the mother-to-be reduce stress, aches and pains, uncomfortable swelling, and increase restful sleep.

While massage is typically performed by applying pressure, cupping therapy uses negative pressure to pull, lift, open and expand the body’s soft tissues. The negative pressure is created through the use of silicone, plastic, and glass cups on the body surface. The cups may be left in certain areas  for a few minutes to help pull toxins; or cups can glide over skin to increase circulation. This service helps break apart tight muscle fibers and release fascia. Cannot be combined with prenatal or hot stone massage.

This service is offered in two different increments. Book a 60 or 90 minute cupping session to have cups placed on a targeted area while using the remaining time to massage other areas of concern. Because the cups will need to be monitored while left on the skin's surface, this is considered a targeted session and not a full body treatment. If you are wanting a full body massage with cupping on a specific area of the body, I would suggest booking a standard massage (therapeutic or deep tissue) with a 10 minute cupping add on.
